Job Summary

The Sanitation Team Member is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our food processing facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing sanitary restoration on assigned equipment and services, adhering to USDA regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Perform sanitary restoration on assigned equipment and services, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Utilize industrial sanitizers and equipment to restore equipment to a level of cleanliness compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • May be required to perform duties of a sanitation team member, including driving special equipment such as fork lifts or scissor lifts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; preferred candidates will have 2+ years of experience in the food or protein industry.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and possess sound knowledge of steps to sanitary restoration.
  • Must be knowledgeable in industrial safety practices, including Lock Out/Tag Out, HAZCOMM, and other areas.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
