Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

At Idahoan Foods, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing self-service business intelligence systems that provide meaningful insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with end-users to define business requirements and convert them into technical specifications for reports and data visualizations.
  • Design, develop, and publish datasets, dataflows, reports, dashboards, and apps to the Power BI service.
  • Prepare and deliver recommendations that address existing and potential trouble areas across the organization.
  • Work with all levels of development from requirements through implementation and support.
Requirements:
  • College degree in business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems combined with 2-5 years related work experience.
  • Understanding of database management systems, data warehouse design, self-service BI software, and T-SQL scripting.
  • Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
  • Self-service BI experience is preferred (Power BI, Tableau, Domo, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and SQL Server (or similar).
  • Experience with ERP source systems (MS Dynamics 365 F&O or similar).
  • Preferred familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle in an IT environment.
