We are seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team at BMW of Chattanooga. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support throughout the service process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule service appointments and obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival.
  • Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts, establishing a promised time.
  • Check on the progress of repairs throughout the day and contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promise time.
  • Test-drive vehicles or refer to the test technician as necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and professionalism.
  • Advise customers on the care of their vehicles and the value of maintaining them in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Meet or exceed dealership-prescribed standards for hours per customer repair order written.
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Two years of experience in a dealership position.
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
  • ASE certification preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
