Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Aimbridge Hospitality. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and addressing any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, changing light bulbs, performing preventative maintenance on guest rooms, and repairing equipment.
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, including ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform plumbing repairs, laundry equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply.
  • Monitor energy conservation and repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment as needed.
  • Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause, and report to the Front Desk with findings.
  • Perform other tasks and jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
  • Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record).
  • Certificate of completion of a one-year college or technical school program; or three to six months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repair, painting, and HVAC systems preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail; monitor own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in response to change and adapt to new methods and procedures.
  • Knowledge of safety principles and federal and state OSHA regulations.
