InVision Human Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair activities, including preventive maintenance for our residential and office site locations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Provide maintenance solutions that meet health and safety standards for residential and commercial locations as assigned.
- Assess and Report: Assess and report on household systems, including HVAC, appliances, and electrical systems.
- Secure Resources: Secure resources necessary for the completion of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with Vendors: Serve as a point-person with outside vendors and provide recommendations to the Facilities team.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on residential and commercial locations.
- Complete Licensing Preparation: Complete household licensing preparation in accordance with DPW regulations.
- Conduct Property Assessments: Complete new residential site property assessments.
- Address Health and Safety Issues: Correct any newly identified health and safety issues, whether or not they were previously reported to the Facilities team.
- Education and Experience: One year of experience in residential or commercial facilities maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and frequent use of hands to finger, handle, or feel.
The employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, and frequently uses hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands/arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch.
