We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Island Hospitality. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards and notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, or disturbances.
- Complete preventative maintenance programs and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Work with the Chief Engineer and Management team to identify and accomplish technical and skilled-related projects.
- Prepare reports for the management team and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
