About the Role

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a CT Tech Specialist, you will be responsible for operating equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance
  • Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns
  • Assist physicians with invasive procedures
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient information using computerized documentation systems
  • Utilize knowledge of age-specific needs of patients in performance of duties and responsibilities
  • Orient and mentor new staff members
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff
  • Provide a safe environment for administering contrast material
  • Assist with transporting patients
Requirements
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician
  • High School Graduate / GED
