Job Overview

Position Summary:

As a Corporate Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in managing the legal and business interests of our Corporate Legal Team. This position offers flexibility with options for remote or on-site work.

Key Responsibilities:

This role serves as a key support function reporting directly to the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, legal matters, and strategic initiatives across various sectors:

  • Manage a wide array of corporate and business issues, including mergers and acquisitions, legal management, and complex transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Provide insightful legal advice and strategic counsel.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve outstanding results.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, particularly in M&A and complex transactions.
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality legal services with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in a mid-sized or large law firm is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, along with the necessary flexibility and emotional intelligence.
  • At least 5 years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing various contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, service contracts, vendor agreements, and non-compete clauses.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in a U.S. state with strong academic credentials.
