Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of various facilities.
- Execute thorough cleaning tasks, including floor maintenance, carpet shampooing, wall washing, and waste removal.
- Alert management regarding necessary repairs or enhancements to building systems.
- Foster effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the organization and regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to undertake assigned tasks.
- Perform floor cleaning duties through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Follow established procedures for using chemical cleaners and equipment to avoid damage.
- Utilize ladders for dusting and cleaning furniture, walls, and fixtures; clean ceilings and light fixtures.
- Remove stains from various surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as needed.
- Vacuum carpeted areas and apply spot cleaning treatments.
- Collect and dispose of trash in designated bins.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces such as tables, chairs, and kitchen appliances.
- Polish furniture and fixtures to maintain appearance.
- Service and restock restroom supplies.
- Clean glass surfaces, including windows and mirrors.
- Keep cleaning supplies organized and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
- Monitor building security by locking doors after hours and ensuring safe appliance use.
- Drive vehicles as necessary to perform cleaning duties at various locations.
- Provide specialized cleaning support during events as required.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial or industrial cleaning.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Must be able to walk extensively throughout the facility during shifts.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in emergency situations.
- Must be able to distinguish colors for color-coded cleaning materials.
- Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
- Ability to manage stressors associated with the job environment.
