Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients of all age groups and acuity levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans.
  • Conduct timely nutrition screenings and assessments to identify patients at nutritional risk.
  • Perform nutrition-focused physical exams and provide evidence-based nutrition care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and guidelines to ensure the highest quality care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program required.
  • One to two years of hospital clinical nutrition experience preferred.
Licensure and Certifications
  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Required.
  • Licensed by the State department of Licensing and Regulation Required.
  • Obtains 75 CEU's within a 5-year period to meet CDR professional portfolio requirements Required.
