Position Overview:
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time, limited-term Lecturer role within the Project Management Graduate Certificate Program. This position is designed for individuals with a robust background in agile methodologies and teaching experience.

Course Details:
The primary course to be taught is:
  • Principles & Practices of Agile Project Management

Teaching Format:
The course will be delivered in an online asynchronous format, allowing flexibility for both instructors and students. Instructors are encouraged to facilitate live class sessions to enhance student engagement.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a master's or terminal degree in a relevant field, with a preference for those holding a Ph.D. or equivalent. Additionally, applicants should have:
  • At least two agile-specific third-party certifications
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in agile roles
  • Previous online teaching or training experience
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are highly desirable.
