Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at 2H Talent. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with over 3 years of recent experience in designing and building healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems, including generator systems, safety systems, imaging equipment, CAT scan machines, MRIs, and other medical devices.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Conduct site assessments and evaluations to determine electrical system requirements and ensure proper installation and operation.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall building designs.
  • Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies for electrical systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, clients, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all electrical systems meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering and healthcare facility design.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in designing and building healthcare projects.
  • Proven experience in the design and installation of electrical systems within healthcare environments, including generator systems, safety systems, imaging equipment, CAT scan machines, MRIs, and other related medical equipment.
  • Strong understanding of NFPA codes, NEC, and other relevant healthcare facility regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
