Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Stantec. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing projects in the industrial water sector. Your expertise will be crucial in developing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, combined heat and power generation systems, and other complex engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Perform engineering design tasks on assigned projects, including engineering drawings, reports, and technical calculations.
- Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach for all project sizes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in client project requirement meetings and coordinate project specifications.
- Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and external consultants.
- Apply advanced knowledge of current principles and practices of electrical engineering.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of ten years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred, but licensed engineer in training (EIT) with plans to pursue a PE license will be considered.
