Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical and instrumentation systems to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Interpret and manage Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure optimal system design and operation
  • Ensure all electrical and instrumentation systems adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant safety standards
  • Develop and manage Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and process control systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation within the manufacturing environment
  • Conduct regular system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align electrical and instrumentation systems with overall manufacturing objectives
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and other team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), National Electrical Code (NEC), and the design of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Solid experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and process control systems
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards related to electrical and instrumentation engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to this role
