Job Title: National Accounts Director

Matson Logistics is seeking a highly skilled National Accounts Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the performance of domestic intermodal and highway brokerage services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call on existing and prospective customer accounts to secure new or preserve existing business.
  • Create and cultivate relationships with customers to generate business and achieve positive gross margins.
  • Identify new business prospects and establish goals and objectives for obtaining invitations to bid on business and secure work.
  • Engage in activities to increase market share, work volumes, and corresponding margins.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Transportation, or related field and 5+ years of transportation sales experience.
  • Proven track record of successful transportation sales, preferably domestic intermodal and/or highway/trucking experience working with businesses on a national accounts level.
  • Ability to travel regularly and utilize various forms of information technology to maximize effectiveness of national sales efforts.
