Southwest General Health Center is a community hospital located in Ohio, providing a range of services to patients. As a Registered Nurse on our 3E Medical Surgical/Stepdown Unit, you will work with a team to deliver high-quality patient care. The unit has a moderate acuity level, with a variety of older adult patients requiring ambulatory to complete care. You will work collaboratively with physicians, patients, and families to provide care and teaching, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, provide, and direct patient care and teaching
  • Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare members
  • Assist in the orientation process of new personnel

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing
  • Medical/surgical experience preferred
  • Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
  • CPR, BLS required and ACLS required within one (1) year of hire
