At Cleveland Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. Compensation for this role is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

As a Nurse Practitioner with Cleveland Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver effective relationship-based nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the nursing process to deliver safe, efficient, and age-specific care to patients and families.
  • Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery, resulting in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain clear communication and effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to the professional practice of nursing by staying current with continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Ohio and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required based on clinical area standards.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of patients and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, and crawling may be required.
  • Reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling are frequent activities.
  • Talking, hearing, and repetitive motions are constant requirements.
