Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner plays a crucial role in expediting the flow of work and materials within the maintenance department. This position is responsible for reviewing and distributing work orders, as well as PM schedules, to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.

• Assist in reviewing documents, materials, and products to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with department supervisors and personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes to processes.
• Communicate with vendors and customers to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve complaints or eliminate delays.
• Record maintenance data, including work orders, spare parts used, and missed deadlines.
• Develop and maintain tracking spreadsheets to monitor inventory and repeat trends on maintenance issues.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet maintenance demands.
• Schedule and monitor progress for work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Compile reports from CMMS to track trends and work efficiency.
• Maintain the Preventative Maintenance Programs for equipment, including contacting vendors and corporate personnel to resolve issues.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience working in Microsoft Excel to manage data, create spreadsheets, generate reports, and charts.
• Minimum of 2+ years in a production or maintenance environment.

• Inventory experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and multitask.
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.

The Maintenance Planner will work in a mostly office environment, with occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions. The position requires frequent walking, standing, and climbing, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
