The Maintenance Planner plays a crucial role in expediting the flow of work and materials within the maintenance department. This position is responsible for reviewing and distributing work orders, as well as PM schedules, to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities- Work Order Management: Assist in reviewing and distributing work orders to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- PM Schedule Coordination: Collaborate with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and maintain inventories of material and supplies necessary to meet maintenance demands.
- Reporting and Analytics: Compile reports from CMMS to track trends and work efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the Trailer/Truck/Fork Lift/other equipment Preventative Maintenance Programs.
- Supply Chain Management: Drop off/Pick up supplies/repairs to local vendors as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in a production or maintenance environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, problem-solving, and ability to multitask.
This role requires frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, pulling, pushing, and crawling. The work environment is mostly office-based, but may involve working outside in various weather conditions.
