Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative II to join our team at Maximus. As a key member of our Outreach department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual outreach and enrollment services, educating clients on managed care options and public health programs.
  • Assist clients with the enrollment/transfer/disenrollment process, providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Interface and maintain professional relationships with county staff and clients, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Conduct appointments to assist eligible consumers complete their Medicaid application, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist Call Center Operations and other departments as determined by project management, meeting business needs and exceeding performance standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required, with 6+ months of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior work experience in customer service, data entry, and/or data processing, with a strong understanding of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Some college or college degree preferred, with experience working with New York Medicaid and/or customer service or related positions.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

Candidates must have their own laptop/computer equipment with Windows 10 Operating System or above, reliable high-speed internet service, and meet minimum download and upload speed requirements.
