Job Summary

SMBC Group is a leading global financial institution with a rich history and diverse range of financial services. As a Loan Documentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting commercial lending operations, ensuring seamless loan processing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and finalize loan documents, verifying accuracy and compliance with policy
  • Collect and reconcile invoices, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Perform quality control reviews, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues
  • Liaise with processing teams to schedule loan closings and facilitate loan funding
  • Assist with onboarding and servicing commercial loan accounts, processing loan payments and payoffs
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of the loan origination cycle and lending process
  • Ability to interpret credit reports and evaluate loan applications
  • Working knowledge of applicable compliance regulations and regulatory standards
  • Basic working knowledge of commercial loan systems
