VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Client Relations Specialist to become a vital part of our evening team. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for animal care, excels in a dynamic work environment, and is adaptable to varying schedules. Our shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and are organized based on the needs of the hospital.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As the first point of contact for our clients, the Veterinary Client Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in establishing trust and confidence in our services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service by welcoming clients, answering phone inquiries, and escorting clients and their pets to examination areas.
- Coordinating and confirming appointments efficiently.
- Conducting follow-up calls and reaching out to potential clients.
- Clearly presenting and explaining service fees, as well as processing payments.
- Advising clients on product and service options, including prescriptions.
- Maintaining accurate medical records, charts, and correspondence.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the facility, both inside and outside.
