Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Improvement Specialist to join our team at JobGet. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving quality enhancement initiatives across the organization, promoting a culture of patient safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Improvement: Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop reports to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Education: Provide education and training to staff on quality improvement initiatives and best practices.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including staff, leadership, and external partners, to ensure seamless implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Nursing required.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in a hospital or outpatient clinical role, and one year of experience in a quality management and/or patient safety, risk management, decision support or similar information analysis role.
  • Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days, or RN-Temp - Registered Nurse - Temporary State Licensure within 60 days. CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), CPPS - Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CBPPS), or other related professional certification preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities, including task completion and motivation.
  • Analysis: Ability to independently analyze and solve problems.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members, and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and software, performance improvement methodologies and principles, and the principles of patient safety.
