Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Representative to join our team at Safran Helicopter Engines. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining open communication with our customers in the specified region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring they recognize you as the primary interface for resolving issues.
  • Report all service difficulties and promote the Safran image, providing market-related information as needed.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with Engineering, Customer Service, and other personnel to expedite repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Perform Levels 1 and 2 maintenance on engines operated in the assigned region, including specific Levels 3 tasks and Maintenance Technical Instructions (MTIs).
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 familiarization to support off-site maintenance instruction.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, composing written documentation and reading technical documentation.
  • Report using the CRM (NOMAD) and provide market information regarding potential sales opportunities, SBH, spares, etc.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and application.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Levels 1 and 2 Maintenance certification.
  • Sikorsky, Bell or Airbus Helicopter airframe and SAFRAN HE engine experience required.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally climb 5 to 10 feet on aircraft steps.
