Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at UofL Health - Frazier Rehabilitation Hospital - Brownsboro. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients who require continued rehabilitation to recover completely.

Responsibilities:

- Assess patients' needs and develop personalized occupational therapy plans to promote optimal recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Develop and implement targeted interventions to address patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
- Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in an acute rehabilitation setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
