Role Summary

Maryhurst is seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at the Euphrasia campus. As a key member of our occupational therapy department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality treatment services to our clients. Your skills and expertise will be utilized to develop and implement effective treatment plans, collaborate with our occupational therapists, and participate in comprehensive discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with occupational therapists
- Deliver occupational therapy services to clients, including individual and small group opportunities, co-treatment, consultation, and treatment team participation
- Participate in providing educational opportunities to clients and staff
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and internal and external parties
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and department policies and procedures

Requirements

- Entry-level occupational therapy degree from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Current license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience in a mental health setting preferred, with a strong understanding of adolescent development, sensory processing, and mental health practice
