We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to enhance our operations. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of our production systems by troubleshooting, adjusting, and programming robotic machinery to meet operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installation and repair of electrical systems, including transformers, wiring, and electronic components of machinery.
  • Perform visual inspections and tests on machinery, documenting all maintenance activities thoroughly.
  • Identify and diagnose malfunctions by listening for unusual sounds and discussing operational variations with team members.
  • Dismantle and repair defective machinery, installing new or refurbished parts as necessary.
  • Maintain and lubricate machinery components such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
  • Design, assemble, and maintain piping systems along with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, while implementing a preventative maintenance strategy for all equipment.
  • Utilize hand and machine tools safely, including grinders, saws, lathes, and mills.
  • Ensure adherence to 5S principles within the department and participate in periodic audits.
  • Troubleshoot robotic controllers and teach pendants to synchronize robotic equipment and verify repairs.
  • Adjust and prepare robotic programs and automated welding parameters based on product analysis.
  • Assist in resolving maintenance issues across all equipment.
  • Collaborate with Controls Engineering to recommend software and programming solutions for reliability challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical institution; five years of relevant experience in a maintenance role, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in robotic programming, specifically with Motoman or Siemens systems.
  • Two years of experience with automated welding equipment.
  • Three years of experience in an industrial automation environment.
  • Familiarity with Motoman Robotics XRC, NX, DX Programming, Siemens, and Allen Bradley systems.
  • Proficient in welding and metal forming techniques.
  • Experience in developing and troubleshooting programs for Motoman robots or similar 6 Axis Industrial Robots.
  • Knowledge of Manual and Automated Welding processes, including MIG and TIG.
  • Ability to install and maintain mechanical and electrical systems on both automated and manual equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Capable of performing robotic troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and ladder programming.
  • Strong mentoring and training skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
