We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Industrial Belting and Transmission. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for creating innovative solutions for our conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our sales team to develop customized solutions for our clients, including bid and sales drawings/layout, and unique material handling ideas.
- Design and develop build drawings, work closely with our fabrication shop on projects, validate customer requirements, and maintain project records and storage.
- Develop or improve existing products, systems, and methods to meet the needs of our clients.
- Oversee the installation of components and/or equipment, implementing products where engineering support is required.
- Utilize strong understanding of engineering principles, tests, and measurement tools to ensure high-quality results.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, with Solid Works and Inventor being preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is essential.
- Experience in the automotive, appliance, or industrial conveyor industries is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
