Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Product Strategist to oversee and enhance our wireless product offerings and broadband network projects. This role will lead the entire project lifecycle and product development efforts for the organization. Responsibilities include developing product roadmaps, refining product specifications, conducting analyses, and providing insights for product development.

This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring a presence in the Denver metro area.

Qualified candidates must reside in the Denver metro area and be prepared to work on-site several days each week.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee product and service management utilizing effective product management strategies and execution.
  • Improve product management tools, documentation, and reporting processes.
  • Lead the planning and execution of new product launches.
  • Develop and maintain product-related communications and information.
  • Create and sustain process workflow documentation to align with business requirements.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Guide cross-functional teams, including engineering and development, on product specifications.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate within a large enterprise and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience
  • 5-7 years of direct experience in product planning, operations, and management.
  • Experience in Agile or Scaled Agile environments is essential, along with familiarity with JIRA or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Background in wireless products, technologies, and services is preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of products, including their requirements and associated business needs.
  • Understanding of wifi platforms, hardware, mobile technologies, and networking.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple business units in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Proven ability to lead stakeholder meetings and manage deliverables effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, utilizing formal systems for reporting and collaboration.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new projects while keeping teams and clients informed of progress and potential challenges.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint for presentations and reporting.
  • Experience with MS Project and JIRA is advantageous.
  • Industry experience in telecommunications, broadband, Wi-Fi, wireless, or consumer electronics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional teams, including IT, product development, engineering, and marketing.
  • Experience managing multiple product lines and providing updates to stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related quantitative field.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • An MBA is a plus.

Compensation


For individuals assigned to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is legally required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

This compensation range reflects a variety of factors considered in compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and delivery model.

This role is a long-term consulting contract with a salary range of $110-145k.

Factors such as years of experience, education level, geographic location, and unique skills may influence the final compensation.
