Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at 1st Class Security, Inc. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular floor patrols to identify and deter shoplifting activity
  • Monitor CCTV footage to prevent and investigate incidents
  • Write clear and concise reports to document incidents and provide evidence
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
  • Provide courtroom testimony as required

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; criminal justice or related studies a plus
  • Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not required
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
  • Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports
  • Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
  • Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
  • Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism not tolerated
