Loss Prevention Specialist

Immediate Opportunity for a Full-Time Loss Prevention Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detect theft through active floor monitoring and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.
- Prepare detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement as necessary.
- Provide testimony in court when required.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must be able to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
Job Requirements:
- Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
- Ability to remain seated, standing, or walking for extended periods (3-4 hours).
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to produce clear, concise, and legible reports.
- Must demonstrate assertiveness while maintaining composure in confrontational situations.
- Trustworthiness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Consistent attendance is mandatory; tardiness and absenteeism are not acceptable.
- Previous experience in loss prevention is advantageous but not essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; coursework in Criminal Justice or related fields is a plus.
