POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sign Estimator and Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in generating sales that align with our gross profit margin targets. This individual will convert sales inquiries into clients by assessing their signage and graphic requirements, crafting proposals for customer evaluation, and successfully closing sales. Following this, they will collaborate with the production and installation teams to ensure that service and quality standards are met. Additionally, this role involves managing the overall client experience with the company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for incoming inquiries.
  • Conduct site assessments, including measurements, photographs, and comprehensive notes to define project scopes.
  • Develop precise estimates that accurately reflect the customer's needs while achieving gross profit margin objectives.
  • Provide the graphics and production teams with thorough briefings for each sold project.
  • Organize all sales and survey documentation, monitoring job progress to meet both management and customer expectations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the client's project, ensuring satisfaction with the outcomes.
  • Respond promptly to all sales-related inquiries and maintain accurate logs of these interactions.
  • Ensure all necessary authorizations are secured before project commencement and follow procedures for fund collection.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance with a commercial use rider; must have a reliable vehicle.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as an Estimator in a comparable organization or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills, including public speaking capabilities.
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity in decision-making and strategic thinking.
  • Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting job estimates and reports.
  • Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with various software and applications.
  • Competence in performing calculations related to gross margins, markups, discounts, and other financial metrics.
  • Ability to read and interpret various documents, including maps and safety regulations.
  • Capability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
  • Proficient in English communication with customers, colleagues, and the public.
POSITION DETAILS:
  • Employment Type: Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week)
  • Salary Range: $42,000 - $47,000 annually, based on experience
  • Benefits: Health insurance, paid vacation, and personal days
  • Work Environment: Office-based with travel for sales calls and site assessments
  • Typical Working Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends
