Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all client account trading activities within Orion Wealth Management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with industry and regulatory bodies concerning trading operations.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to processes and procedures aimed at boosting operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Conduct regular assessments of trading risks and initiate necessary changes to mitigate these risks.
  • Maintain comprehensive tracking and invoicing records to comply with internal and external service level agreements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to trading activities.
  • Ensure adherence to auditing standards and service quality metrics within trading teams.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex trading issues.
  • Lead and direct multiple trading teams along with an operational support unit.
  • Manage departmental personnel, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee development.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of innovative ideas and procedures.
  • Engage with technology teams to prioritize new development initiatives.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to foster communication and development.
  • Oversee custodial relationships across all trading teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Possession of a Series 65 license or the ability to obtain one shortly after joining.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services trading, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Certification in Orion Industry standards.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
