We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team as an Employment Integration Specialist. This role will involve working with young adults with Autism to improve their social and vocational skills, as well as connecting them with community resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and facilitate access to clients in the Community Adult Autism Partnership Program (CAAPP) and the Community Supported Employment Program (CSE)
- Ensure authorizations for services are obtained and revised
- Establish and maintain community-based sites for vocational opportunities
- Provide job assessment, career development, skill training, and individualized support
- Monitor service delivery, utilization, and team cohesiveness
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Social Science, Vocational/Rehabilitation Education, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Two years' experience working with adolescents and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Experience with ABA instructional methods, case management, and/or counseling
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills and mastery in Microsoft Office applications
- Specialized training in Applied Behavior Analysis, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Supervisory Excellence
- Leadership and Professional Development Opportunities
- Opportunity to work with a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Licensed Psychologists, and Social Workers
- Hourly pay rate: $18-$20
Devereux's Community Adult Autism Partnership Program provides social and vocational programs/services for young adults (21+ years) diagnosed with Autism who have aged out of the educational system. The position is community-based and out in the field, with a mix of office/administrative and community-based work settings.
