We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Programs Analyst and Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in enabling Joint Force Development and performing analysis of security cooperation policies and authorities.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and review training information from the Combatant Commands and create Congressional Notification reports.
- Work with various government agencies to answer Requests for Information (RFIs) regarding joint and combined training activities.
- Draft, edit, and compile reports to Congress.
- Participate in working groups with Joint Staff, Military Services, Defense Agencies, interagency stakeholders, and Allies and Partners.
- Participate in various program meetings, collaborate with stakeholders, develop documents and briefs, and present results to Joint Force leaders at the GS-15/O-6 level and above.
- Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint to produce high-level deliverables.
- Knowledge of Department of Defense organizational structure, doctrine, and terminology.
- Knowledge of Joint Staff, including joint training internal procedures and staff operations.
- Ability to supervise junior staff.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to track multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with Joint Training, Joint Exercises, and the Joint Event Life Cycle, performing, coordinating, or delivering training to CCMD and Joint Task Force Headquarters staffs, collecting data and analytical analysis, and determining courses of action or 5 years of experience with Joint Training, Joint Exercises, and the Joint Event Life Cycle, performing, coordinating, or delivering training to CCMD and Joint Task Force Headquarters staffs, collecting data and analytical analysis, and determining courses of action in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years of experience with identifying training deficiencies and developing recommendations for their resolution.
- 3+ years of experience with conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluations.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
