Job Description

Zepf Center is a leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio, serving the community for nearly 50 years. Our comprehensive services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. We also offer primary care medical services to our patients, contributing to their continuum of care. Our agency is trauma-informed, providing a safe environment for both patients and staff.

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of preventive and emergency maintenance projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager. This role will ensure the maintenance and physical condition of our 16 properties, including buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including trash removal, spill cleanup, and grounds upkeep.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility and grounds, including vacuuming, mopping, and floor care.
  • Coordinate inspections and certification of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in the documentation and implementation of emergency drills, including fire, tornado, and other scenarios.
  • Responsible for the organization, upkeep, inventory, security, and maintenance of all facility equipment and tools.
  • Perform carpentry work, including drywall installation, carpet and tile laying.
  • Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical maintenance issues.
  • Ability to maintain boilers, including upkeep, operation, inspection, cleanliness, and maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information.
  • Apply judgment and care in the performance of maintenance tasks, adhering to best practices in terms of safety, quality, and timeliness.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates degree or HVAC trade certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of required OSHA safety trainings and procedures.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
