Bristol Myers Squibb is a global biopharmaceutical company that is dedicated to transforming patients' lives through science. We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, External Data Acquisition to join our team.

Job Summary

The Associate Director, External Data Acquisition will be responsible for leading the acquisition and integration of external clinical trial data across multiple programs. This role will oversee a team of external data management professionals and will be responsible for driving data collection and integration strategies for vendor/partner generated clinical trial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the acquisition and integration of external clinical trial data across multiple programs
  • Oversee a team of external data management professionals
  • Drive data collection and integration strategies for vendor/partner generated clinical trial data
  • Ensure adaptive management of a global team through effective deployment of resources and streamlined processes
  • Manage the book of work for initial and post-production external clinical trial data activities
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and career development to staff
  • Ensure procedural documents are reflective of industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the development and application of smart systems and optimal approaches to support the collection of external data
  • Represent the function for Health Authority inspections and internal audits
  • Engage and energize employees through communication of goals, priorities, and other business critical information
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required with an advanced degree preferred
  • At least 7 years of global clinical trial expertise with a focus on external clinical data acquisition and integration
  • Successful track record of leading through influence, working across complex, global organizational matrices, and effectively managing staff
