Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to coordinate an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Provide Physical and Psychological Support: Offer physical and psychological support to patients and their families, promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Manage Patient Records: Accurately and efficiently manage patient records, including charting, documentation, and data entry.
- Coordinate Scheduling and Referrals: Assist with scheduling tests and treatments, arranging referrals to specialists, and obtaining pre-authorizations as needed.
- Communicate with Patients and Families: Effectively communicate with patients and families, providing clear instructions, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Education and Licensure: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Kansas or Missouri, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous medical office experience, preferably in an ambulatory clinic setting.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably in an ambulatory clinic.
