Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented LPN to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough nursing assessments on all patients at admission and on an ongoing basis.
- Administer medications, including narcotics, and monitor medication passes as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including medical records and MARs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Assist with patient/parent teaching and provide education on health and wellness topics.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Kansas.
- One year certificate from an accredited college or technical school.
- Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Greater than 1 year of medical surgical nursing experience.
