Job Overview

Platform Accounting Group is seeking a highly skilled Sage X3 Development Manager to lead our web development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, production-grade web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dependencies, modularization, scalability, and experience delivering software in production environments. They will also manage the phases of development projects, ensuring efficient use of time and resources while collaborating with functional teams to meet business objectives.

We are looking for a leader who can mentor the team in using DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing. The successful candidate will conduct code reviews, guide improvements in code quality, and ensure adherence to business and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a web development team, ensuring best practices for software development, including modularization, dependency management, and scalability.
  • Oversee the development of production-grade software, ensuring applications are scalable and meet performance requirements.
  • Mentor the team in using DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.
  • Conduct code reviews, guide improvements in code quality, and ensure adherence to business and technical standards.
  • Manage project timelines, phases, and resource allocation to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and ensure that technical solutions meet business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Statistics or another computer-related field.
  • Full stack development experience – UI, application business logic, and MSSQL.
  • Strong experience managing web development teams, with expertise in React, React Native, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with managing development projects in GitHub.
  • Experience in web security.
  • Familiarity with Sage X3 and Enterprise Resource Planning software is a plus.
