4-7 years of relevant experience in the industry or a related domain.

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field is essential. The role relies on moderate experience and judgment to plan and achieve objectives.

A degree of creativity and independence is expected. The position operates under limited supervision, allowing for significant initiative and independent decision-making.

Role Overview:

The Middleware Systems Analyst will:

  • Comprehend business goals and challenges, explore alternative solutions, and conduct studies and cost/benefit analyses of options.
  • Evaluate user requirements, workflows, and issues to automate processes or enhance existing systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to assess current operational practices, identify challenges, and understand specific data input and output needs.
  • Draft comprehensive descriptions of user requirements, program functionalities, and necessary steps for developing or modifying software applications.
  • Examine system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to ascertain if requested program modifications are feasible within the current system.

Essential Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in installing, deploying, configuring, and managing WebSphere ND clusters/cells on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including necessary upgrades and patches.
  • 5 years of experience in optimizing large, complex Java-based web applications within a Service-Oriented Architecture.
  • 5 years of experience in troubleshooting large, complex Java-based web applications in a Service-Oriented Architecture.
  • 5 years of knowledge and application of DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, with experience in automating stages of the DevOps infinity loop model.
  • 4 years of experience in creating Jenkins pipelines to automate WebSphere Application Server configurations.
  • 4 years of experience in developing Red Hat Ansible Platform playbooks for automating WebSphere Application Server installations and deployments.
  • 4 years of experience with various scripting languages, including UNIX, Jython, YAML, and JSON.
  • 4 years of familiarity with Java and all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • 4 years of experience using Application Performance Management tools such as DynaTrace and Splunk.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3 years of experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow.
  • 2 years of experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager.
  • 1 year of experience with IBM DataPower.
  • 1 year of experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
  • 1 year of experience with AWS solution architecture and management.
