We are currently in search of a skilled Systems Analyst to serve as a vital contributor within a technical services team. This role will support our client in the health and human services sector.

Remote Work:

This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must reside in the Austin, TX area or nearby locations.

Role Responsibilities:

The Systems Analyst will:

  • Analyze business objectives and challenges, exploring alternative solutions while conducting cost/benefit analyses.
  • Evaluate user requirements and operational procedures to enhance existing systems or automate processes.
  • Collaborate with various organizational units to identify issues and determine specific data input and output needs.
  • Document user requirements, program functions, and the necessary steps for developing or modifying software applications.
  • Assess computer system capabilities and limitations to ensure program changes align with existing systems.

Middleware Coordination:

This role is essential in managing Middleware activities between operations management and applications. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating TIERS Releases and Maintenance schedules.
  • Addressing operational issues, communicating with management, and leading resolution efforts.
  • Providing architectural guidance on technical implementations and schedules.
  • Supporting core applications hosted on-premise and in the cloud.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in installing, configuring, and managing WebSphere ND clusters on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • 5 years of experience in tuning and troubleshooting complex Java-based web applications.
  • 5 years of knowledge in DevOps and CI/CD methodologies.
  • 4 years of experience creating Jenkins pipelines and Ansible playbooks.
  • 4 years of experience with various scripting languages.
  • 4 years of familiarity with Java and the SDLC.
  • 4 years of experience using Application Performance Management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow and Operational Decision Manager.
  • Familiarity with AWS solution architecture.
