Job Title:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Adult Psych Part Time

Job Summary:

Metrowest Medical Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Adult Psych Part Time. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist to provide patient treatments and document treatments given.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan
  • Document treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements
  • Work with children through geriatric patients with clinical competency
  • Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
  • Perform selected tests and measurements as directed by therapist
  • Maintain documentation on all treatments
  • Assure appropriate equipment performance prior to each use
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant
  • Active U.S. military service members, or veterans with any military service, training, or education verified and credited by an accredited OTA program is acceptable
  • 1 year experience preferred
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by AOTA
  • Licensure, as required by State law
