Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting. As a COTA, you will work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and abilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and independence
  • Document resident progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to practice in the state employed
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and experience with electronic documentation
  • Good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
  • Ability to work well with others in a team setting
  • Flexibility with hours
