Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work alongside our experienced occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients develop the skills they need to live independently and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
- Provide direct patient care, including conducting therapy sessions and providing support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant or related field.
- Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
- 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field.
