About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Corvias. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service to residents, responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Maintenance Operations: Ensure the maintenance of the highest standards of customer service through prompt response times and quality home maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Assign jobs to maintenance technicians, provide guidance as needed, and effectively train, organize, and support the team.
  • Safety and Compliance: Use and follow safety guidelines for tools and equipment, and demonstrate operational knowledge of these products.
  • Inventory Management: Process all maintenance orders, maintain adequate inventory control within budgeted guidelines, and forecast potential expenses for budgeting purposes.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Assist in the creation and implementation of an effective preventative maintenance plan under the direction of management.
  • Compliance and Quality: Monitor compliance of Company policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete all work orders and home turnover within established time guidelines, budgets, and required quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, college courses or technical school training strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years of direct property maintenance experience, preferably in a multi-family environment, and 4+ years directly supervising a team of 4 or more.
  • Certifications: Industry-relevant or trade certifications/licenses preferred, but not limited to, HVAC/CFC, CAMT, journeyman plumbing/journeyman electrical.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to utilize RealPage, YARDI property management software, and proven knowledge and success in the specialties of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, landscape maintenance, lock repair, construction, and OSHA standards.
  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills, leadership ability, conflict resolution, and staff development.
