Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the efficiency and productivity of the accounting department
  • Address inquiries from team members
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure optimal management of client accounts
  • Supervise the collection process
  • Authorize payments and manage check signing
  • Communicate with banking institutions and establish new accounts
  • Prepare, compile, and review financial statements
  • Develop and balance budgets along with year-end adjustments
  • Onboard new client accounts
  • Manage year-end processes
  • Assist with external year-end audits

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of practical experience in commercial real estate accounting
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements
  • Experience in team leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to engage with all levels within the organization
