Job Opportunity

F1 Arcade is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key player in our culinary operation, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet our high standards for quality, presentation, and safety.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Cook menu items according to F1 Arcade recipes, ensuring each dish meets our quality standards.
  • Follow procedures for food presentation, portion control, and plate garnishing to create visually appealing dishes.
  • Manage your time effectively to ensure prompt preparation and delivery of orders during busy periods.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and cleanliness.
  • Work closely with chefs, sous chefs, and prep cooks to coordinate and expedite orders.
  • Monitor food quality at all stages and address any issues to maintain F1 Arcade's standards.
  • Assist in managing inventory, notifying management of low stock, and participating in stock checks.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to accommodate special requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
  • Assist with various kitchen tasks as needed, including food prep, cleaning, and organizing.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred.
  • Current food handlers license.
  • Understanding of culinary techniques, knife skills, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work well with others, follow instructions, and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong time-management abilities to handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen.
  • Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift 50+ lbs if necessary.
