Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst II to join our team at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing financial strategies to support the Authority's capital and operating programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and maintain the Authority's ten-year capital plan and annual capital budget.
  • Perform lifecycle cost analysis and financial modeling to support capital project decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasting models to analyze future bus, rail, facility, maintenance, and expansion projects.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support the Authority's debt management, cost containment, and avoidance strategies.
  • Work closely with the Manager of Cash to monitor the Authority's daily cash position and control cash balances on deposit at financial institutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field and 3 years of directly related job experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of financial software applications, including Oracle Grants, Projects, Power BI, Hyperion, Discoverer, and Financials.
