Nurse Coordinator for Pediatric Hematology

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Coordinator to join our pediatric hematology team at Children's Health (Dallas). This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
Job Summary:
This role will coordinate care for patients with sickle cell disease, working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for pediatric nursing.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care, including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with healthcare teams.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions between care settings.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting self-advocacy and empowerment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
- At least 1 year of job-related experience, preferably in pediatric hematology or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sickle cell disease management and treatment options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
- A competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on experience.
